We live with nature and treat it with nothing but respect. It is part of our being.
We select only the best grapes from our vineyards. We take into account seasonal differences in harvests and create wines that artistically reflect the characteristics of each harvest.

Terroir
The hill, illuminated by the sun from every corner, is part of a varied and fertile landscape. Today’s soils have evolved from carbonate rocks and Pleistocene clays, which are a solid home to our vineyards today. A relatively high saturation with basic ions is typical, so a slightly higher pH can be detected.

Climate
Our wine-growing region lies in the sub-Pannonian climate, where cold winters and warm and dry summers alternate. Our hill is a large sun terrace, where we are warmed by 2000 hours of sunshine a year, but we have been listing more in recent year. With enough heat being absorbed and due to its positive effects, our crop is ready to be made into more than just typical varietal, Styrian wines.
About 1000 mm [K1] of rainfall is measured annually. In autumn, when the grapes are ripening, there are noticeable fluctuations between day and night temperatures, which enable nicely positive acids to develop, and thus wonderful fruit aromas.

Sustainability
For three generations we have been working in harmony with the soil, the natural ecosystem, and the seasons. We nurture our vineyards according to their needs, not harming the world
we will one day leave to our descendants. We carefully sort the crop and choose only the best, which can be stored in bottles every year.
